PVR Skill Central Pvt. Ltd. (PVRSCPL): An innovative and inclusive workforce skill development organization and conducts skill sets assessment of work force/learners in Spinning, Weaving, Knitting, Processing, and Power looms, Handlooms, Garmenting and Handicraft Sectors in India.
We transform learners to use assessments to enhance, build, and lead their Skill for career development. Our extensive industry, academic and managerial experience of team developed formative and summative assessment and aptitude tests and personality questionnaires cover all job roles and levels and are designed based on NOS and sectorial research for successful workplace performance.
- 2011: Organisation Established.
- 2013: Apparel and Spinning Industry Consulting on Direct Placements of Manpower. Skill gap study, skill matrix, manpower availability surveys for Apparel Industries and availing benefits from textile policies.
- 2014: Empanelment with Apparel Made ups & Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council as Assessment Agency for Skill Assessments.
- 2015: Empanelment with Textile Committee as Assessment Agency under Integrated Skill Development Scheme (garmenting, spinning, weaving, knitting, processing and handicrafts).
- 2016: Empanelment with Textile Sector Skill Council as Assessment Agency for Skill Assessments in Textiles & Handloom Sector.
- Conducted handlooms weavers survey in association with Chotuppal Handloom Weavers Cooperative Society (HWCS), Mothkur HWCS, Pochampally HWCS and Munugode HWCS, Gadwal HWCS and in Powerloom Sector.
- Organised H&M Suppliers Meet on Textile Policy of A.P. with the participation of 23 companies.
- 2017: Continued industry linkages to name few Aditya Birla Fashion Retail Limited, Arvind Limited, Gokaldas Exports, Gokaldas Images, Laguna Clothing and Pearl Global Industries
- Collaborated with Handlooms & Textiles Department, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh and conducted road shows to create awareness on A.P. textile Policy.
- Channelized for the establishment of Vishwaa Apparels (garment export manufacturing unit) in Chittoor District, A.P. with 1000 manpower capacity and currently in operational with 600 people.
- 2018: Empaneled with APSCCFC as Audit Partner for Assessments and Center Infrastructure Verifications.
- 2019: Empaneled with Karnataka Skill Mission as Assessment Agency and continuing to be a stake holder in integrated textile sector development of India.
